Shahid Kapoor is a mega motorcycle enthusiast. He already has a few Ducatis and motorcycles from other brands in his garage. Yet, he has added another Ducati to his garage. Shahid Kapoor has just bought a brand-new Ducati Scrambler worth over Rs 12 lakh and an on-road price of Rs 14 lakh. Shahid shared the pictures on his Instagram.

The new Ducati Desert Sled is in a sparkling blue and white shade.  Shahid was spotted with his riding gear in the picture, ready to take on the bike. This model is from the new Ducati Scrambler range, which was introduced in 2020. This is also the new colour, which Ducati introduced with the new model range.

The Desert Sled is designed to pay tribute to the enduro bikes of the 1980s. The unique identifiers include adding a new seat and mesh headlight cover.

The frame of the Desert Sled is also modified and gets extra strength while the swingarm also gets reinforcements. The suspension offers adjustments and comprehensive travel of 200mm. The bike also sits higher than the other variants.

This bike comes powered by an 803cc, L-twin cylinder, and air-cooled engine. It generates a maximum power of 75 Bhp and peak torque of 68 Nm.

Shahid Kapoor owns the Ducati Scrambler 1100 that he bought in 2019. It is a special edition motorcycle. The special edition gets brushed aluminium parts that look extremely good with the moody blue-grey colour of the bike. The highlights are on the radiator shroud, mudguards and the swing arm. The bike also gets glitzy chrome highlights on the header. It also features a retro-looking brown seat. With the added features, the bike is priced at Rs. 20,000 more than the base variant of the bike.

It also gets ride-by-wire with three riding modes – Active, Journey and City. The bike gets a 1,079cc, liquid-cooled, L-Twin engine that churns out a maximum power of 85 Bhp at 7,600 rpm and 88 Nm of peak torque at 4,750 rpm. The Active and Journey version produces a maximum of 85 Bhp; the City mode produces a maximum of 75 Bhp.

That’s not it. The actor also owns a BMW R 1250 GS. It is an adventure touring motorcycle and gets a massive 1,254cc boxer engine that produces a maximum power of 138 PS.

Shahid also owns a BMW G 310R, which is a single-cylinder and most affordable motorcycle from the Bavarian brand.

Shahid Kapoor also owns a Harley-Davidson Fatboy. While he is not spotted much with the Fatboy anymore, he used to love this cruiser and was often spotted going out on late-night rides alone.
